Salsa Dance Marin Studio – Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Salsa Dance Marin Studio! We are excited to have you join our vibrant dance community. Before participating in our classes, workshops, or events, please carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions. Your enrollment and participation signify your agreement to these terms.
- Acceptance of Terms
By registering for classes, workshops, or events, or by otherwise participating in any activity at Salsa Dance Marin Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as they may be updated from time to time. - Health and Physical Condition
You affirm that you are in good physical condition and do not suffer from any known medical condition or disability that would prevent or limit your participation in dance classes or activities. If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you must consult with your physician before participating and inform the studio staff prior to the start of any class. - Assumption of Risk – Injuries
You understand and acknowledge that dancing, including salsa dancing, involves physical activity and inherent risks of injury. These risks include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, falls, twists, fractures, and other physical injuries. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation in classes, workshops, rehearsals, performances, or any other activities at Salsa Dance Marin Studio. - Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in activities at Salsa Dance Marin Studio, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Salsa Dance Marin Studio, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and volunteers (collectively, “the Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you, or any property belonging to you, while participating in any activity at Salsa Dance Marin Studio, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise. - Personal Belongings
Salsa Dance Marin Studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please secure your valuables and avoid bringing excessive personal items to the studio. - Code of Conduct
Respect: All students and staff are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy.
Punctuality: Please arrive on time for classes. If you are late, please enter quietly and join the class without disruption.
Hygiene: Please maintain good personal hygiene – washing hands, using deodorant, etc.
Footwear: Wear appropriate dance shoes that are clean and non-marking.
Attire: Wear comfortable clothing that allows for full range of motion.
Instruction: Follow the instructions of your instructors for your safety and the safety of others.
- Payment and Cancellations
Payment: All class fees, workshop fees, and other charges must be paid in full prior to participation.
Refunds: Class packages and memberships are non-refundable. For workshops and special events, refund policies will be specified at the time of registration.
Cancellations: Salsa Dance Marin Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes or workshops. In such cases, students will be offered a credit or refund.
- Photo and Video Release
You grant Salsa Dance Marin Studio permission to use photographs and videos taken during classes, workshops, or events for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, website, social media, and marketing materials, without further compensation or notification. If you do not wish to be photographed or video-recorded, please notify the studio in writing. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
