Our Instructors
Lucie
Welcome to Salsa Dance Marin! I’m Lucie, the proud new owner of Salsa Dance Marin, and I’m thrilled to continue the incredible legacy of this studio.
My journey with dance began at age six, but it was truly ignited when I met Mark Ellis, the previous owner of Salsa Marin. Mark showed me the profound connection within dance—how it transforms not just our bodies, but our entire well-being. He taught me that dance is more than just steps; it’s a vibrant expression, a source of joy, and a powerful way to connect with others.
This is just the beginning! We’re constantly listening to what you want and are thrilled to be planning even more exciting classes to add to our studio.

Mizahn is a Salsa and Samba competitive dancer. She has choreographed for national and international events. She is also a former Santa Fe, New Mexico dance studio owner, where the focus was introducing dance genres to the city’s underserved youth.
Mizahn’s dance icons include Janet Jackson, Alvin Ailey, Gregory Hines, and Aaliyah. She tries to empower the female voice in dance, much like her 11th cousin, Ginger Rogers.
