Curious about bachata but not sure where to begin? This class is ideal for total beginners and anyone who wants to solidify their fundamental steps. We get it – stepping onto the dance floor for the first time can be a little nerve-wracking! That’s why we’ve created a supportive and fun environment where mastering bachata basics is easy and enjoyable.
Our friendly instructors will guide you through:
- Basic directional steps: You’ll learn the fundamental movements that form the building blocks of all bachata dancing.
- Proper frame for partner work: Discover how to connect comfortably and effectively with a partner, setting you up for smooth and enjoyable dances.
- Simple turn patterns: We’ll introduce you to easy-to-follow turn patterns that will have you dancing with a partner in no time.
We’ve carefully organized our curriculum to ensure that each movement is easy to grasp and remember, building your confidence with every step. Our goal is to make learning fun. Join us to learn Bachata in Marin.
Important Details
- No dance experience required: Whether you’ve never danced before or it’s been a while, you’re welcome here!
- No partner necessary: Come solo or bring a friend—either way, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to dance.
- Please wear non-marking shoe soles: This helps us keep our dance floor in great condition.
