Join us for an exciting and expressive contemporary dance workshop designed specifically for children aged 6 to 13 years old! Led by the incredibly talented James Hisanaga, this workshop will introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of contemporary dance, focusing on instinctual movement and creative exploration.

Children will learn to connect with their bodies, express themselves freely through movement, and discover new ways to tell stories through dance in a fun and supportive environment. No prior dance experience is necessary – just a willingness to move and explore!

About James
James Hisanaga is a dance and theatre artist originally from Mill Valley, CA. They just graduated with a B.S. in Dance from Northwestern University and are now based in Chicago. James is super excited to teach while she is visiting home!
